8 Months!!

I know, I know, it's been over three months since I last posted ANYTHING. And I still don't have a single picture of me - but you can imagine, I'm huge, and I feel bigger :-) I've only gained 20 lbs. so far, but I sure hadn't lost much after Asher, so I'm hoping it stays around there. I have taken pics of Asher, though I'm having a hard time finding them right now, so . .you'll just have to take my word for it that he's darling and active and going to be hit hard I'm afraid when this new little one comes along. On the other hand, I think he'll appreciate having a playmate. His favorite word is "Da" and says that for Everything imaginable except for 'bath' and 'ball', for both of which he says, "Ba". He loves to throw balls, drink milk (he's been going through his own gallon every 2 to 3 days), and Dance :-). He's figured out that if he pushes the buttons on Israel's iPod he can usually turn it on. Then he holds one of the little ear buds to his ear and does the cutest dances. He LOVES his daddy, and misses him SO much when he's gone. They are inseparable when daddy is here, and Asher copies everything Israel does. He's actually quite posessive of him. I've been pushed away from Israel more than once when Asher was pretty sure I was hogging all of his attention. :-)

I'm feeling really well considering my size. Having a toddler to chase this time around has definitely put more of a strain on my body, but I sleep well most of the time and am able to do all the stuff I need to do in a day. I've even started on Christmas stuff, just so there is less to worry about later.

Israel continues to be SUPER DUPER busy. He's working so hard. I love him. We are lucky to see him for 1/2 hour or so in the mornings before he heads to school and then work. Getting home by 9:30 is early. Then he's usually either up till 2 a.m. or up at 5 a.m. (and occasionally does both) in order to keep up with his homework. I don't know how he's doing it. Luckily, he never has to work on Sundays, so he's got one day a week to spend with us.

I've got 3 1/2 more weeks left! The more I think about it, scheduling an induction sounds like a great idea. Any opinions on the matter? I've heard it's harder on your body - but I'm a huge fan of epidurals - And there's always the chance that the baby could come earlier, but I'd be really surprised if that happened. The convenience of knowing when he's coming is sounding really appealing lately. I'm due on November 2nd and Israel wants a Halloween baby - mostly cause it happens to be a Friday and he'd have a whole weekend to be with us. We'll see!!

Yay! I almost didn't check to see if you had posted something. Let us know if you need something. As for the Induction. I wasn't to thrilled with the idea, but then I had to have one anyway thanks to my water breaking early. I personally didn't mind it too much. I also have nothing to compare it to though. You will Love St. Al's. They are amazing and if you are induced you can still get up and roam the halls (before you get the epidural anyway) because they have remote moniters in the ceilings!

I'd say go for the Halloween induction - I was induced with Carly and it wasn't that bad. I got started at 8am and it went slow but steady all day and super fast at the end - almost too fast to enjoy the pleasures of an epidural! She arrived at 5pm. We scheduled it around a weekend and loved the benefits of the known date and having daddy's help and love longer. You go girl!

Asher is so cute! He'll love the new baby.

As far as being induced, it's not bad. I've heard that the contractions are worse when you're induced, but you'll be fine with the epidural.

Congrats!! We're almost done!

Yeah for updates! I've been waiting for fun pictures and such on your blog. :-) I'm so glad you're feeling well, overall, and always amazed at how well you're all doing with Israel's busy schedule. Good luck with it all.

I'm so happy to read an update!!!!!:) I can't believe you are only 3 1/2 weeks away from having this baby!!! Time sure flies! I was induced with both Brielle and Braden, they weren't scheduled or anything I was ready to have them but I just take way too long to dialate so I was on pitocin both times. I didn't mind it one bit! Good luck with the upcoming changes! Having two is a lot of fun but also a lot of work!!!:)

Israel has a great point, my vote is a Halloween baby. You are a cute pregnant lady and don't look undercomfortable at all - though I'm sure you are. I can't believe how little you've gained - I wish I had only gained that. Man I'm an idiot!
